M72
Double sensor PSD analog
|
|
|
|
Implemented into this
double sensor is a second receiver for highest accuracy. In this manner
a resolution from 0,0001 mm to 0,001 mm (0.004 mil to 0,04 mil) is
reachable.
For distinct structures, scratches, pale to dark transfers and tinned
surfaces this fast laser sensor is particularly suited.
|
|
By light point interpretation with two receivers, falsifications
on pale-dark transfers and on interferences will be substantially better
centralized. Like this, much higher accuracies are achievable than with
a single sensor.
Like nearly all
our sensors, also the M72 works according to the principle of triangulation. The measuring rate of 10 kHz (sampling frequency 54 kHz)
and the response time from 0.1 ms to 67 ms are adjustable.
The small light point diameter (0.3 mm) (0.1 in.) enables the recording
of tiny units.
Three variations with measuring ranges of 0.5 mm, 2 mm and 4 mm (0.02, 0.07
and 0.16 in.) are obtainable.
Due to the separated evaluation electronics, it was possible to minimize
the sensor head. Also included in delivery is a 2 m (78.7 in.) long connection
cable.

This sensor was
developed especially for diode measuring. It was to be examined, whether
the tinned IC-legs are bent. The tolerance limit was set to 0.1 mm (0.004
in.). In the same cycle, it was to be determined, if the previously roughened,
black body is too deeply scratched.
For over 20 years, MEL is the most innovative producer
of intelligent sensors. We are glad to help you solving your measuring
problem. On request, we develop special models.
