The
M2DW, with the integrated air or water cooling, with the robust protective
shield and the replaceable protective windows, is predestinated for hot
jobs.

CCD
sensors implicate advantages on measuring edges and feature absolute accuracy
and linearity independent from the surface.
Like nearly all
our sensors, also the M2DW works according to the principle of triangulation. Two versions with measuring range 75 and 160 mm (2.95 in. and 6.3
in.) are available. Concerning weld seam
guiding, both variants are tried and tested. The devices are robust and
insensitive to shocks and vibrations.

Whether guiding
of welding head or weld groove tracing or weld seam inspection, the M2DW
laser scanners identify the seam / groove, realize the edges and they
control the motors, so that the right position is always maintained. A
