The M2D laser scanner supplies 3D pictures from object
surface.
The software controls position and speed of linear drive. The exact position
is displayed by precision scale. With it, the surface scanning is independent
of transport speed.
As well, this technology permits the recording of very small surface geometries.
From the recorded surface-scan, the software generates a map model or
a 3D representation.
A downstream evaluation software finds defects and verifies certain teachable
criteria.
M2D laser scanners are available with scan widths from 6 mm to 2600 mm
(0.23 in. to 102.36 in.). With it, objects of all dimensions can be imaged
and entered calculative.
