With the incredible response time of 1,2 µsec and a measuring frequency of 500 kHz (sampling frequency in DC mode) this sensor reaches utmost possible speeds.
Consequently predestinated for the fastest measuring tasks: oscillations, vibrations and explosions.

Additional, for testing of products on extremely fast production lines, this device is especially suited.
Like nearly all our sensors, also the M500 works according to the principle of triangulation. The resolution from 0.04 mm (0.20 mil) is according to the range of medium accuracy.
The very small light point diameter (0.06 mm) (2.36 mil) enables the recording of smallest components.
Two versions with a measuring range of 2 and 8 mm (0.078 in. and 0.31 in.) are available.
Due to the separated evaluation electronics, it was possible to minimize the sensor head. The electronic module is included in delivery, also the connection cable (2 m) (78.7 in.).

•  loudspeakers membrane
•  relay tab
•  measure vibrations on thin foils
 

Whatever, if component testing on rapid conveying belts, vibration measurement at relay tabs or explosions, via RS232 interface the measured data are available at once.
